The White House in damage control after explosive interview
Donald Trump’s closest advisor, chief of staff Susie Wiles, reveals all to Vanity Fair. In it she eviscerates the vice president, calls out Elon Musk as a ketamine user, and says the president has ‘the personality of an alcoholic’.
Wiles rejects the article, saying she’s been taken out of context. The president says he still has faith in her… for now.
How revealing of the inner Trump circle is the interview? And what does it tell us about how the president could next act?
Plus - Trump announces a $10bn dollar lawsuit against the BBC. Money that would cripple Britain’s public broadcaster. What next?
And as the jobs market takes a big hit in the US… the president remains on the offensive against Venezuela. His secretary of war continues to bomb boats in the sea.
