Welcome to Truth Be Told ABOUT GOING WILD. I'm your host, Robert Hensley, and this is the podcast inspired by the principles of Personal Rewilding. I recently had an opportunity to participate in a group art project curated by the National Road Heritage Corridor here in Pennsylvania. The focus of which was Creative Placemaking.

It wasn't something I thought about before, but since it's been a regular passenger on my train of thought. How could Creative Placemaking be used to support the practice of Personal Rewilding? Now, Personal Rewilding is often described as a return to Nature, but it can also mean rediscovering our own capacity for curiosity, connection play, and belonging.

Creative Placemaking offers a powerful way to support that process by transforming ordinary spaces into places that invite people to slow down, notice, participate, and reconnect. Creative Placemaking brings art, storytelling, design, performance, and community activity into shared environments. A neglected lot might become a community garden. Aforgotten pathway becomes an outdoor gallery. A neighborhood gathering place might host music, ecological workshops, or storytelling. These interventions do more than beautify a location. They change how people experience and relate to that place.

For personal rewilding, this shift in perception is important. When we participate creatively in a landscape, we become more attentive to its rhythms, histories, plants, animals, and the people who live there.

Making art from natural materials, mapping a neighborhood through memories, planting native species, or simply Gathering Outdoors can restore a sense of agency and wonder. Nature becomes less of a distant destination and more of a living relationship. Creative Placemaking can therefore help bridge the psychological divide between people and the more than human world.

It encourages us to see, excuse me. It encourages us to see ourselves, not as visitors to Nature, but as participants within a living system. In this sense, personal worlding is not about escaping the built environment. It's about reimagining our place within it. Ultimately Creative Placemaking, makes rewilding social as well as personal.

By creating places where people can encounter nature, culture, and one another, it helps cultivate curiosity, care, and belonging needed to be more reciprocal. With the world around us. I'd like to thank you for listening today. Remember, there are two opportunities each week for new content from the Truth Be Told family of podcasts on the Club Paranormal Channel on YouTube. That is Tony Sweet on Friday with the original Truth Be Told. And of course Truth Be Told About Going Wild every Monday and both of those shows go live at 3 P.M. Pacific/6 Eastern on their respective days.

Hosted live by truth-seeker Tony Sweet, Truth Be Told Paranormal is a weekly, hour-long exploration of the unexplained. This podcast from the Club Paranormal Channel moves beyond simple ghost stories, framing its investigations within broader contexts of culture, documented history, and even true crime. The conversations are built around interviews with researchers and experts, delving into specific cases of UFO encounters, paranormal phenomena, and the often-shadowy records of secret societies. Listeners will hear detailed analyses that connect ancient mysteries to contemporary events, examining the evidence and narratives that challenge conventional understanding. The tone is one of open-minded inquiry rather than sensationalism, aiming to piece together fragments of the hidden and the debated. Each episode of this podcast functions as a deep-dive session, where complex topics are unpacked in a structured, conversational format. The goal is to provide a coherent examination of subjects that often reside at the fringes of news and documentary storytelling, offering a platform for detailed discussion that is rarely found in mainstream coverage. It’s for those who appreciate a methodical approach to the mysterious, where historical context meets firsthand accounts and expert testimony. You can expect a consistent focus on the intricacies of each case, with Tony Sweet guiding the dialogue to uncover the layers beneath popular legends and reported events. The result is a show that treats the paranormal and the historical unknown as serious subjects worthy of a thorough, hour-long dissection, naturally fostering a space where alternative perspectives and documented anomalies can be examined side-by-side.
