True Crime Catch Up is back!

I'm delighted to say that True Crime Catch Up is back with a brand-new episode, as I sit down with Stuart Blues, host of the British Murders podcast, for episode one of our new monthly series.

If you haven't listened before, it's a chance for the two of us to get together and chat about different aspects of true crime, from individual cases to our own experiences of researching and presenting them.

In this episode, we each talk about three cases we've covered on our podcasts that have stayed with us for a number of reasons. Some have affected us more than others, and we reflect on why these particular stories have remained in our minds long after recording them.

It's a slightly different format from our usual podcasts, with a more relaxed conversation, a few personal reflections and, inevitably, a few laughs along the way. We're now releasing True Crime Catch Up on the first Saturday of every month, and I'm really looking forward to getting together with Stuart regularly to explore more true crime stories and topics.

I release new episodes of the UK True Crime Podcast every Tuesday and Friday, so please do join me for the next story on Tuesday.

Hosted by Adam Lloyd, the UK True Crime Podcast from Always True Crime explores the unsettling, the unresolved, and the historically significant criminal cases that have shaped communities across the nation. Rather than sensationalism, the approach is one of meticulous narrative, built on thorough research and a respect for the human stories at the heart of each event. You'll hear detailed accounts of crimes from England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, examining not just the facts but the social contours and personal journals that give these stories lasting weight. This podcast operates at the intersection of history, culture, and personal tragedy, considering how a single act ripples through society and into the collective memory. With new episodes arriving every Tuesday and Friday, the series has earned a substantial audience, reflected in its shortlisting for Best True Crime Podcast at the 2026 True Crime Podcast Awards and over eighty-five million listens. For those drawn to the complexities of real-life stories, this podcast provides a consistently engaging and thoughtful exploration, making it a definitive voice within the genre. The depth of coverage ensures that each case is presented with the context it deserves, offering listeners a comprehensive understanding that goes beyond the headlines.
