Trump Tried to Bully a Top Law Firm—And the Judge Torched Him for It (audio)

Author: No spin. No mercy. Just the truth—from a lawyer who knows the game. May 28, 2025 Duration: 7:30

Trump just got smacked down again. This time by a U.S. District Judge Richard Leon, who torched his latest executive order like it was kindling.

His attempt to weaponize the government against WilmerHale, a law firm tied to Robert Mueller, was ruled flat-out unconstitutional, “a staggering punishment” for daring to do their job.

The judge didn’t mince words:

“The Order is intended to, and does in fact, impede the firm’s ability to effectively represent its clients!”

Then Judge Leon dropped the hammer:

“The Order shouts through a bullhorn: If you take on causes disfavored by President Trump, you will be punished!”

That’s not democracy. That’s authoritarianism.

And one more thing, Judge Leon was nominated by Republican President, George W. Bush.

When all is said and done, it’s obvious that Trump’s real goal was to intimidate elite firms into silence and submission. But here’s the kicker, those who stood up, fought back, and said “hell no” are winning.

This is a much needed warning flare for every American: the rule of law only survives if we defend it.
