Universal After Dark began exactly like that—born from a deep, late-night love for Universal Orlando Resort and the feeling that only hits when the sun goes down, the lights glow, and the parks feel alive in a different way.
At the very beginning of it all was Boston White, the original host and the voice that set the tone for everything that followed. Boston didn’t just start a podcast—he created a space. A place where love for Universal could be loud, emotional, nostalgic, and honest. The DNA of Universal After Dark was shaped in those early days, and no matter how the show evolved, that foundation always remained.
From there, the podcast grew through different eras, different hosts, and different chapters. Each host brought their own energy, humour, opinions, and passion, helping the show evolve while staying true to its heart. Those past hosts are not footnotes—they are part of the story. And just like the podcast, Universal Orlando Resort changed too. Over the lifetime of the show, attractions opened and closed, icons disappeared, new lands reshaped the skyline, and entire eras of the resort faded into memory.
