Four Arrows (Wahinkpe Topa) aka Dr. Don Trent Jacobs is faculty in the School of Leadership Studies at Fielding Graduate University. We  talk about the kinship or indigenous worldview in contrast to the dominant worldview and how trance-based learning or altered-state knowing (psychedelic) is essential to restore in our modern world if we are to heal as a species and restore our connections to ourselves, others and the biosphere.

Hosted by peg peters, UNVEILED: exploring psychedelics and spirituality is a series of conversations that delve into the intricate connections between altered states of consciousness and spiritual seeking. While rooted in personal experiences with Christian symbolism, the discussions actively embrace an inclusive and open approach to spirituality. The podcast creates a space where faith, culture, health, and the many forms of human relationships intersect. Listeners will find episodes that thoughtfully examine how substances like psychedelics can influence personal meaning, spiritual practice, and overall well-being. This isn't about providing easy answers, but rather exploring the nuanced questions that arise at the crossroads of tradition and modern exploration. You'll hear genuine dialogue that reflects on film, television, and fitness through this unique lens, offering reviews and perspectives that tie everyday culture back to deeper existential themes. The aim is to foster understanding within the greater community and beyond, welcoming anyone curious about how individual journeys of meaning are shaped. Each episode invites reflection on how we navigate the profound and the mundane in our search for connection.
