Development Administration  After the second world war,the afro-asian Nations emerged out of the dark experience of Imperial exploitation. The Newly independent nations embarked upon a complex process of social reconstruction. poverty, illiteracy, diseases, malnutrition, Agricultural and Industrial activities Post a formidable challenge for the government of the new Nations. The Third world countries want immediate outcome on Social and economic front but Max Weber's bureaucratic model didn't deliver as per expectations. The term development Administration was first coined by an Indian scholar goswami in 1955.  Comparative Study of Public Administration in different ecological settings gave birth to development administration. Development Administration is public administration which focuses on government influenced changes towards the attainment of Progressive social economic and political objectives.  Hence development Administration as an action-oriented, goal-oriented administrative system.  In Broader sense Development Administration refers to governmental reforms which focuses on the process of nation-building.  In narrow sense it is considered as planned chages in the social services, such as health and education. The development Administration is used in two references. Firstly, Development of Administration and Secondly, The Administration of development. In whichever way it is referred, Administration need to be modernized and reformed as per the Changing aspirations of Leaders and People. There are various influence zones which impinges on the goals of development.  One administrative system, It performs specialized services and undertakes Vast range of Developmental and non-development activities.  To political organization, Political parties mobilize people in support of Developmental programs and they resolve social conflicts and pave the way for development.  Three Voluntary associations, they fill the gap between the people and the governmental system and expedite the process of development.   Societies are often decided into privileged and under-privileged, haves and have nots so Development Administration endeavours to reduce the difference.
