Washington Razor Clam Digs: March 17-24

Washington States Razor Clam Digs: A Week-Long Extravaganza!

From March 17th to 24th, enjoy razor clam digs at Long Beach, Twin Harbors, Copalis, and Mocrocks beaches. The schedule includes evening tides early in the week and morning lows to kickstart weekends.

Tuesday, March 17th, at 6:21 PM, dig at Long Beach, Twin Harbors, and Copalis with a 0.2-foot tide. Wednesday follows at 6:54 PM, and Thursday at 7:28 PM, Mocrocks joins in. Mornings begin Friday at 8 AM with a -0.1-foot tide, running through Tuesday at 11:21 AM, and some spots extend digging until 1 PM.

The Ocean Shores Razor Clam Festival overlaps Friday through Sunday and into Tuesday. The daily limit remains 15 clams per person, kept in separate containers, and you must retain the first 15 you dig. Everyone needs a valid 2025-26 fishing license.

Check the schedule closely, as Copalis and Mocrocks do not open every day. Prime digging hits one to two hours before low tide, between noon and midnight for evenings or midnight to noon for mornings.

WDFW is modernizing licenses, dropping waterproof paper after July 8th in favor of mobile options via the MyWDFW app or Fish Washington. Electronic catch records start April 1st, with more features coming soon. Next digs are set for April 1st through 7th.
