The Washington State Department of Commerce is processing Working Washington 5 Grants, and they received a lot of them due to the large volume of applications. Application review will finish in late October. The Department of Commerce will notify. All applicants and funds will be dispersed to those who have been awarded a grant. Reminder if you've applied for a grant, this is your last chance to get a unique entity identifier number which is required to receive funds. Our financial relief toolkit has been updated with links to get your UE number and where to direct questions about the grant. The Association's Government Affairs Committee has made its decision on who to endorse. The full list of endorsements can be found on wahospitality.org. These endorsements were made after the association's state government affairs team met with more than 100 incumbents and challengers across the state on both sides of the aisle. The endorsed candidates are friendly to business and the hospitality industry and will help maintain balance in the state legislature.
