On January 1st, 2023 the state's minimum wage will increase to $15.74 an hour. While many hospitality businesses are already paying above minimum wage, this increase will almost certainly push up wages across the industry, another requirement going into effect on January 1. Employers with 15 or more employees will be required to include salary and benefits information on job postings. Now let's get back to looking ahead at 2023 specifically the new legislative session. The association state government affairs team is planning to hold community meetings in October and November to share what they're working on this legislative session and hear from you about what you need as our industry moves past the pandemic. Visit our website to find a location near you, and if you can't make it, register for the virtual session. For more information, go to https://wahospitality.org/
