Author: All INdiana Podcast Network March 14, 2021 Duration: 37:05
Charlie connects with racing star Romain Grosjean who owns one of the best comeback stories of 2021. Grosjean, a veteran of the top racing series in the world, Formula One, is heading to the United States this spring to race on the IndyCar circuit for the first time. The 34-year-old's final race of the 2020 F1 season ended in a horrifying, fiery crash at the Bahrain Grand Prix. Pinned inside the cockpit and engulfed in flames, Grosjean miraculously escaped the scene. Despite severe burns to his hands, Grosjean made a fully recovery and is set to return to racing with IndyCar's season opener next month at Baber. On this episode, Grosjean shares with Charlie how the terrifying crash has changed his life, in addition to his first impressions of the IndyCar world.
