University of Virginia law professor has Tim Heaphy has served as legal counsel for the college, and spent years as US Attorney for our district. Jay James caught up with him in the aftermath of the protest on Saturday afternoon to share his insight on what a declaration of “unlawful assembly” requires, and what might have been behind the decision to remove protesters from their encampment.
