Mrs. Sandra York-Gumbs is an accomplished educator, leader, business manager, and woman of faith. Originally from St. Kitts, she taught in Catholic schools before moving to Anguilla, where she continued her teaching career and later transitioned to a public service role.


Motivated by a passion for education, she founded the Comprehensive Learning Centre (CLC) in 2002, providing diverse learning opportunities for Anguilla’s community. Celebrating 22 years, CLC has significantly impacted the local educational landscape.
