Welcome back for another episode of Christian Conspiracy Coalition. Over 2000 years have passed since the time of Christ and his apostles. Even more time has passed since the time of the Old Testament Prophets. What we are left with is the living word of God. But what happens when people choose to use, manipulate and subvert the word of God for their own purposes? We quickly delve into the realm of modern day false prophets, the bible has warned us to be on the lookout for these false teachers.  John 4:1 states "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world".  Peter 2:1 adds further insight by saying "False prophets also arose among the people, just as there will befalls teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction." So what constitutes a false prophet today? How can we identify these figures? And what can we do to combat such works?
