Free will has been a topic that has challenged man Christians. The view can differ between denominations and it is easy to become confused on the matter. Especially when living n a world filled with philosophical works and scientific exploits.
Humanity has grappled with ideas of fate and predestination for thousands of years and now ideas such as string theory and the multiverse have made it an even more daunting topic. Yet this continually becomes a topic between those of the faith and secular people alike.
Martin Luther is known for having this to say on the topic - "The forces of good and evil are working within and around me, I must choose, and in a free will universe I do have a choice".
