In Greek mythology Night, was one of the first goddesses and gave birth to a girl without the contribution of a male partner. Zeus fell in love with that girl and started chasing her around the world while she was constantly changing forms in order to avoid him. Finally Zeus got her when she had taken the form of a goose and he a swan's. In that form the girl laid an egg and from that egg came Helen. Helen of Troy. That girl's name was Nemesis. The goddess of justice who would play a significant role, later on , in the Trojan War.
