About METRO POWER HITS 95.1
Metro Power Hits 95.1 is the new name of a Buenos Aires classic: the former Metro 95.1, relaunched as MPH - una nueva radio, as it introduces itself. The dial, in the Colegiales neighbourhood, has carried hit music for decades. From its studios on Ramon Freire street it plays, in its own words, a modern, warm and musical mix.
The formula is in the slogan: hits - anglo, Latin and Argentine rock - Bob Sinclar beside Miranda!, Dua Lipa beside Cerati, the 90s and 2000s beside today. It is pure singalong radio, engineered for volume, and office workers write in to confess it. The X bio says it best: Si no podes dejar de cantar, es culpa nuestra - if you cannot stop singing, it is our fault.
The station broadcasts on 95.1 FM in Buenos Aires and streams from mph.fm, with half a million followers across the socials, a WhatsApp line for listeners and apps carrying it on every phone. A heritage dial with a fresh logo.
