3HA Hamilton

3HA Hamilton holds a special place in Australian radio history: when Associated Communication Enterprises bought the station in 1984, the deal created what became Ace Radio, today one of the country's largest regional broadcasters. The station itself has been the voice of Hamilton, in Victoria's Western District, for generations, transmitting on 981 AM.

Programming follows the classic country heritage formula: oldies and classic hits, talkback, local news and sport, with networked shows filling parts of the schedule. An FM sister, Mixx FM 88.9, looks after the hit-music end of the Hamilton market, leaving the AM service to the broader community mix.

English-language and community-minded, 3HA streams free online, keeping the Western District's most established radio voice within reach of locals, farmers and expats alike - a straightforward classic hits radio listen online, wherever you are.
