CROOZE.fm - The Original

CROOZE.fm earned its tagline honestly: The Original. The Belgian web station was one of the pioneers of lounge radio, programming smooth jazz, soul, chillout and R'n'b for Dutch-speaking listeners who preferred their music elegant and unhurried.

Its sound defined laid-back listening: café-friendly vocals, warm grooves and downtempo classics sequenced for hours without a jolt - the kind of programming that made CROOZE a fixture in Belgian living rooms, bars and offices far beyond the internet-radio niche.

The original streams have since gone silent and the domain now leads nowhere, leaving the station's legacy in directories and listener memories. For fans of the sound, the lounge tradition lives on across many live web radios; this entry keeps the original Belgian one on the record.
