Amazonian

Amazonian is a Brazilian-music web radio in the full sense of its own tag: the stream identifies its genre simply as Brasileira. Portuguese-language and community-run, it devotes the rotation to the breadth of Brazilian music - samba's swing, bossa nova's softness and the MPB songbook that carries the country's musical identity.

The name points to the Amazon, and the programming follows Brazilian music where it lives: regional rhythms alongside national favourites, tradition beside contemporary voices. As a community-flavoured web radio it keeps the format close to the music itself - few frills, continuous sound, the feel of a station programmed by people who love the material.

Streaming in 128 kbps MP3 on Shoutcast infrastructure, the station opens in any web player or radio app, carrying Brazilian sound to lusophone listeners and curious ears worldwide. Free online radio - a live listen, Brazil on one stream.
