Belgahay

BelgaHAY Radio is the voice of Belgium's Armenian community, broadcasting in Armenian and French. Its backbone is the newsbox - daily news bulletins about Armenia, repeated through the day - wrapped in a schedule that serves the diaspora's twin identity: Armenian culture on one side, Belgian daily life on the other.

The programme list is unusually rich for a community station: Crossroads discusses Armenia-EU politics with analysts, Pierres et Passions explores Armenian architecture, Mélodies Poétiques presents Armenian poetry, HayVinyl unearths lost and new Armenian songs, and wellbeing capsules and practical minutes fill the gaps in French. Listeners can even propose their own show.

Run by the non-profit ADCB and broadcast on DAB+, via a mobile app and online, the station keeps Armenians in Belgium connected to both homelands. The MP3 stream opens in any web player or radio app. Free community web radio - a live listen, Yerevan to Brussels in one frequency.
