Radio Religare 35

Radio Religare 35 broadcasts from Pouso Alegre, in the south of Minas Gerais, with a format that is unusually specific for a small-town web radio: hip hop and rap, with a clear taste for the underground rather than the charts. In a region better known for sertanejo farms and coffee, it is the dial where the beats live.

Its Top 5 chart tells the story: Mobb Deep, DJ Premier and Raekwon next to Brazilian names like Apocalypse Urbano - east-coast classics and national rap sharing the same dial. Requests arrive through the message form, the chat and the WhatsApp line, and the station keeps a commercial channel open for local advertisers in the Pouso Alegre region.

The stream runs around the clock, keeping hip hop culture alive in the Mineiro countryside and far beyond it - free web radio to listen online, for heads everywhere who prefer their rap uncut and their playlists curated by people who know the classics.
