About Radio Caicara 1020 AM
Radio Caicara is the AM news voice of Rede Pampa de Comunicacao in Porto Alegre, the Rio Grande do Sul group that also runs TV Pampa and the O Sul newspaper. Studios sit on Avenida Ipiranga, in the Santana district of the state capital.
The clock runs the classic full-service grid: Show da Madrugada in the small hours, Bom Dia Caicara at dawn, the six-hour Show da Manha through the morning and Clube do Ouvinte at midday. News covers the state - Civil Defense alerts, the Natal Luz of Gramado, city services - alongside Brazil, world, music and celebrity desks, and a jobs section turns the site into a service hub for the city and the state.
An app and the web stream extend the 1020 signal beyond the AM dial, for gauchos near and far, any day of the week. Free web radio to listen online, around the clock, morning and midnight alike.
