ILHEUSFM

Radio Ilheus FM is the audio arm of O Tabuleiro, the news portal of Ilheus, the cocoa capital of south Bahia that Jorge Amado turned into world literature. The masthead states the editorial line plainly: a verdade sem bajulacao - the truth without flattery.

The dial carries the portal's journalism: city services and SAMU fleets, municipal politics with names named, community appeals from the Lagoa Encantada fishing villages, and the interview program O Tabuleiro itself, where the region's politicians answer live on air. Columns by a bench of local writers and podcast replays extend the coverage between bulletins.

The stream keeps the cocoa coast's most outspoken voice within reach anywhere on earth. Free web radio to listen online - Ilheus, hour by hour, around the clock, every single day.and down the whole Costa do Cacau.
