Power Fm

Power Fm is an Italian web radio that has been on air in some form since 2000 - a veteran of the medium. Its slogan keeps the format plain: All Time Classics, the hits that have already proven they can survive a few decades.

The playlist runs through classic pop and rock with an Italian accent, streamed in HQ at 320 kbps. The site around it doubles as an online music magazine, updated daily with stories in Italian about the records and artists being played - Genesis anecdotes, Clash compilations, the charts of the eighties.

Listening is easy: the player at powerfm.altervista.org opens in any browser, old-school media players are still supported, and the station is carried by TuneIn and the directories, with social updates on Instagram, Facebook and X. A donations page keeps the lights on - a passion project, running for a quarter of a century.
