FM Schenker Radio online

FM Schenker is an online radio from Posadas, the capital of Misiones province, made by and for rock fans. The playlist runs through classic rock, blues, hard rock and heavy metal, with a music-first approach that keeps chatter to a minimum and lets the guitars do the talking from morning to night.

Posadas sits on the Parana river, facing the Paraguayan city of Encarnacion, and the station adds a much-needed rock voice to the local dial of the region. As an internet radio, though, its real territory is the web: the live stream plays around the clock for anyone who wants their rock loud and uninterrupted, whether in Misiones or on the other side of the world. Misiones is the land of red earth and yerba mate, home to the Iguazu falls, and a rock station broadcasting from its capital brings that sound into a region better known for chamame.
