trebolradiojazz

Trebol Radio Jazz is the jazz corner of Trebol Radio Stereo Net, a Spanish-language online radio project rooted in Caracas, Venezuela - a clover (trebol means clover) of channels, this one devoted to jazz. Spanish-speaking jazz fans know the network for its taste.

Its flagship programme, Jazz Musica Viva with Sandro Oramas, has appeared in International Jazz Day listings, and the wider network spins jazz and blues beside R'n'B, rock, garage, indie, classical and symphonic rock - plus the inevitable Spanish-language pop-rock hits. It is programming by people who own the records: an eclectic, collector-minded schedule.

The jazz channel streams around the clock through free hosting - no app needed beyond a browser - and appears in the Venezuelan jazz sections of the directories. A small, personal operation that survives on enthusiasm, like most good jazz radio. Turn it on late at night and it makes sense.
