smooth Relax

smooth Relax is the chill-out channel of smoothfm, the Nova Entertainment network heard on smooth 95.3 in Sydney and smooth 91.5 in Melbourne. Where the main stations play soft adult hits, smooth Relax goes further down the tempo scale: soft, calming music designed for unwinding - the playlist leans on acoustic versions, soft pop and mellow instrumentals, familiar songs at half speed - - the kind of stream people put on to work, to study, or to end the day - or simply to lower the volume of the world for an hour.

The smooth brand has always sold itself on a calmer radio experience, and the Relax channel is that idea distilled: no news, no presenters, just a continuous flow of gentle music, day and night. It is available as a live online stream and through the smooth player, so the relaxation is not limited to Sydney or Melbourne - it follows the listener anywhere.
