BitWaves South Australia

BitWaves is the online community radio of South Australia: a non-profit station streaming the hits and favorites of the 80s, 90s and 2000s, with breakfast and workday programming, specialist music shows and listener requests keeping it human - the studio line takes calls and texts all day. There is no FM license behind it - the station is built for the phone and the desktop, with its own apps on iPhone and Android.

The project has grown a sister stream, BitWaves Classics, which digs further back into the 60s, 70s and 80s, so the two channels cover the decades between them. Made in Adelaide for the whole state, BitWaves streams free online to regional South Australia, the capital and anyone elsewhere who wants the era when choruses were big and the radio felt like a friend.
