7BOD - Star FM 93.7 FM

Star FM, call sign 7BOD, is the community station of the Break O'Day area on the east coast of Tasmania. The main signal, 93.7 FM, covers St Helens, with repeaters on 98.5 in Bicheno and 100.3 in St Marys - a chain of small coastal towns that share one volunteer-run voice: local programs, music and community news.

St Helens is known as the game fishing capital of Tasmania, and this is fishing and holiday country, famous for the Bay of Fires and its beaches, and the station serves people the big Tasmanian networks rarely reach. Programs are made by locals for locals, on everything from fishing reports to the weekend sport - the whole point of community radio. Star FM also streams online, so the east coast of Tasmania can be heard by anyone, from Hobart to the mainland and beyond.
