HappyRadio.Live

HappyRadio.Live is an online station from Perth built around a veteran of Australian radio, Jon Lewis, who spent decades on the Perth dial before taking his show online. The format is gentle by design: easy listening, soft pop and love songs through the day - and then, from midnight to six in the morning, a live call-in talk show, where Lewis talks with whoever is awake, a bit of company for the night.

The station invites its listeners to talk back: a web call straight into the studio or a text message to the studio line, so the broadcast stays a two-way conversation. It is radio as companionship - the motto of the project says it: it is nice to be nice - made in Perth and streamed live online to anyone who wants soft songs and a friendly voice, wherever the night finds them.
