Author: Jihane Farrell, former aging research scientist, PhD-level longevity coach, ADAPT-Certified Functional Health Coach June 23, 2025 Duration: 43:57
PhD scientist addicted to work, drinking too much and driven by anxiety, I had ALL the bad habits. At 35, I woke up to the irony of working in the lab on an anti-aging treatment, all the while aging faster because of my lifestyle. I quit lying, quit drinking, quit smoking, quit eating sugar. But it was too late and my career in research ended in a burn out. Deep in the science of aging, focused on meaning and used longevity lifestyles to bring myself back to life. I felt better than ever: new peaks in my mental capacity, high and stable energy all day, I felt unstoppable. All thanks to turning my habits around. I found a new path, helping others. A lot of life happened. I got my functional health coach certification, started a business, had 2 kids,… Only to find myself fat and getting weaker. While my baby was in the hospital, I knew I had to level up my longevity game by creating the habits to get a strong and lean body. I didn’t wait for her to get out of the hospital, I went to work. Through my experience in research and in life, I have learned that prevention is better than medication. It has become my life mission to offer people a step-by-step method to help them create life-giving habits and make it stupid-easy for them. I invite you to come listen to my story today, not just so you know who’s behind the mic, but also so that you see I am someone just like you. If I overcame drinking, smoking, a sugar dependence, overworking, anxiety, depression and loneliness, so can you. You are capable of so much more.   Ready to take action?
