So, oppositions can be just that, opposing forces blocking, stopping, limiting, or challenging us from outside ourselves. But if you believe that you create your own reality either consciously or unconsciously (which astrology shows us), then in some way, shape, or form, WE have (perhaps unconsciously) created/projected that outside force! Taking full responsibility and becoming conscious of our creations is what evolution is all about.
Lilith, Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, and the Moon, to some extent, are five different aspects of our unconscious. When the Sun, Moon, and Mars come into the picture, our consciousness needs to deal with these inner shadows. So it's shadow time! If you (and I could say "we" as we are all dealing with some opposing forces right now) are feeling stuck, blocked, or dealing with confrontation at this time you are being offered an opportunity to see how your own unconscious works.
Oftentimes, these oppositions appear when we want something more than we think. We may be pushing harder than we will admit to ourselves or others. We may be more attached to an outcome than we say, and/or our emotional attachment to something is stronger (more obsessive) than is comfortable, ethically, or morally justified in our mind. This is where the rub comes in. By seeing how hard we push, how far we are willing to go, and what extremes we will take to move through the opposing forces, we see a part of ourselves that we would prefer to remain hidden, secret, or unconscious. So, along comes a week like this to show us just what is what, who we really are, and what we really need deep down inside.
The trick is not to ignore, deny, avoid, or run from the situation. Instead, take a compassionate approach to ourselves and the other, lower the bar of perfection a bit, humble ourselves, and admit who we are - human. As humans, we have all been wounded, and we all have memories (sometimes buried) where we have been denied our wants and needs. If we can accept that it's not so much about right and wrong but about our need for healing, we can work with these complexes in more creative and gentle ways. Good luck!
