Ashley Kowalewski is a strength and conditioning coach at LSU, where she works with the indoor volleyball and women’s tennis programs. Before joining the Tigers full-time in 2024, she gained diverse experience across the country, including stops at Missouri, Arizona, Michigan, the NSCA headquarters, and the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Center. Along the way, she has coached athletes in softball, gymnastics, soccer, swimming, diving, track & field, and more, helping programs reach the highest levels of competition, including two Women’s College World Series appearances with Arizona softball.A native of Strawn, Texas, Kowalewski competed as a javelin thrower at the University of Oklahoma before pursuing her graduate degree in kinesiology and sports nutrition at Texas Woman’s University. She is certified through both the NSCA (CSCS) and CSCCa (SCCC), in addition to USAW and FMS. Known for her passion for community and connection, AK continues to inspire athletes and coaches alike while also running a side gig in coffee roasting.
