For over two decades, BUN DA MIX SESSION has been the sonic laboratory of Martinique-born, Toulouse-based DJ Scientifik. This isn't just a series of tracks strung together; each episode is a crafted experiment where the art of the mix is treated as a precise science. As a seasoned DJ, beatmaker, and sound engineer, Scientifik spends most of his time in the studio, and that focused energy translates directly into the podcast. Listeners are invited into that space to experience seamless blends, inventive remixes, and entirely new compositions that defy easy categorization. His musical frame of reference is exceptionally broad, pulling from a deep well of influences spanning from the 1960s to the present day. You might hear Latin rhythms effortlessly transition into African grooves, or feel a rock vibe melt into a jazz phrase before building into a house momentum. The result is a fluid, genre-less journey that reflects a lifetime of passionate curation and technical skill. Tune in for a consistently evolving sound where the only constant is a dedication to musical discovery and the seamless flow of a true selector at work. Each installment of this podcast offers a unique auditory document, a snapshot of an ever-curious mind at play in its element.
