The EPA is moving to rescind the 2009 “endangerment” finding that declared CO₂ a pollutant—supposedly dangerous to human health, well-being, and the planet. Now that the public comment period is open, the National Academy of Sciences is rushing activist scientists into action to defend it. The usual suspects—Michael Mann, Zeke Hausfather, and others—are already whining, while media allies like AP’s Seth Borenstein launch their own attacks.
