Day 43-75 - I did it and now what?

Day 43-75 - I did it and now what?

Author: Kulbors Productions November 15, 2023 Duration: 20:40

Welcome to the final and concluding episode of this year's 75 Hard Challenge. Unfortunately, I couldn't continue sharing my journey with you as I had to make a strategic decision and my job and family were more important to me, so I ended the series early. I'm unhappy about it and have thought about it several times a day for the last 30 days, but you have to realize when you can't do it.

But what have I achieved?

- I've read 937 pages of 5 different non-fiction books,

- I took 1,191,023 steps,

- I rowed 570,000m with the Waterrower,

- cycled almost 600km plus my daily rides with the kids,

- did yoga dozens of times inside and outside,

- drank over 285 liters of water, and

- took 75 super weird pictures.

And I have learned a lot about myself. For anyone thinking about taking on this or a similar challenge, do it! I am very sure that it will not hurt you and I am very sure that you will learn a lot about yourself from this experience. This has also shown that you can do a challenge like this, with children, with a lot of work and any old burdens that you are carrying around with you. It is very helpful to organize your day more efficiently and to jump over your own shadow in many moments.

In any case, I've decided to continue, albeit in a slightly lighter version over the holidays, and then I'll start again in January because I want to try to complete the entire program in 2024.

See you then!

There’s a raw, unfiltered honesty to Fatherly Grit: Thriving Through 75 Hard that pulls you right into the daily grind. This isn’t just a chronicle of a fitness challenge; it’s a candid audio journal about what it really means to commit to something difficult while balancing everything else. In the first season, Julius navigated the 75 Hard Challenge with all its stumbles and hard-won victories, offering a genuine look at the process. Now, he’s joined by Marcel, and the dynamic shifts. Together, they’re tackling the program as a duo, using the structure of the challenge as a springboard for much broader conversations. Each episode becomes a space where they work through the demands of life, work, family, and relationships in real time, all while holding each other accountable to their physical and mental goals. Produced by Kulbors Productions, this podcast captures the messy, rewarding journey of self-improvement without polish or pretense. You’ll hear the fatigue, the frustration, and the small breakthroughs that happen when two people decide to push their limits. It’s about finding strength in partnership and exploring how discipline in one area can ripple out and transform all the others. Tune in for a dose of relatable grit and the conversations that happen when the workout is done but the real work continues.
