About Dr. Piraye Beim


Piraye Yurttas Beim, PhD is the founder and CEO of Celmatix, a preclinical-stage biotech transforming women’s lives through better ovarian health.  With its growing pipeline of innovative drug programs including an AMHR2 agonist program focused on ovarian aging and an oral FSH for infertility, Celmatix is addressing areas of high unmet need by developing the next generation of interventions and pioneering advancements in ovarian health. 

Dr. Beim has dedicated herself to innovating in women’s health for more than 20 years. During her PhD work at Cornell University (Weill, NYC) and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, she was on the front lines of the precision medicine revolution in oncology. She then completed her post-doc at the University of Cambridge (UK), focusing on the science of fertility.
