Hall of Fame Finalists Revealed | Irvine News

This year’s National Toy Hall of Fame finalists pack nostalgia and innovation—Tickle Me Elmo, Bingo, the playground slide, Care Bears, Yahtzee, Mahjong, Pokémon TCG, Bop It!, Monster High, Polly Pocket, Mouse Trap, and Sorry!—each vying for a spot among childhood icons. Voters decide who makes the cut based on lasting impact, creativity, and multi-generational appeal. Past contenders like Elmo and Pokémon are back with a shot at glory, joining legends like Hot Wheels and Mr. Potato Head. Winners announced in November will join 90 other toys already enshrined in toy history.
