114: Should You Start Offering a Threads Service as a Social Media Manager?

Author: The Two Lauras June 25, 2024 Duration: 28:13

Almost a year ago, Threads launched (where does the time go?!) as Meta’s rival to Twitter and we thought it was time to catch you all up on how we’ve been using it over the last year. We won’t lie, it’s not hugely strategic, but we still love it as a fun alternative platform to use when you just fancy a quick scroll. However, there are of course brands absolutely smashing it on Threads, so you might be wondering - should my clients be using Threads in a strategic way and could I actually offer it as a service? Now that the hype has died down, we’ve assessed the lay of the land and will be sharing all with you in today’s episode!

In this episode, we’re chatting about:

  • What Threads looks like for us now that we’re almost a year in
  • The types of businesses and content that we see performing really well on Threads
  • Scheduled content on Threads and why we’re worried about it
  • Why we think charging your client to post on Threads for them is a bad idea
  • What a potential Threads service could look like for your clients
