Samson Mow is the CEO of Jan3, a company focused on accelerating hyperbitcoinization. He is also the CEO and Founder of Pixelmatic. He was previously CSO at Blockstream. Most importantly, he is the rhythm guitar player for Satoshi Rockamoto 🎸🤘🏼😂 Samson is a #bitcoin all-star and titan of the industry. Jan3 is currently in "stealth mode" and working on several new products, including the Aqua wallet for Bitcoin, L-BTC assets, and implementing Lightning in their next release. Aqua integrates Liquid, Lightning, and sidechains for enhanced privacy and lower fees. Most of what Jan3 is up to is on the hush-hush.... including who else is on their team, plans for mining, and all that fun stuff. We're lucky to have invested in Jan3 through our NODE 1 FUND and are excited about what they're building. THEY'RE ORANGE PILLING COUNTRIES! If you can get countries to DCA, that's a pretty big deal.
Jan3 advises governments on adopting Bitcoin, particularly mining and issuing "Volcano Bonds" backed by mining revenue. El Salvador was the first country to make Bitcoin legal tender. Jan3 helped architect the Bitcoin bonds and is now speaking with leaders from other countries interested in Bitcoin adoption.
Rare Toshi is an NFT marketplace built on the Liquid Network and initially developed by Blockstream. It allows artists to tokenize their work without needing Ethereum. Jan3's revenue will come from Aqua, consulting deals, and a cut of any Bond issuances or advisor agreements they arrange with countries adopting Bitcoin. The goal is to create a self-funding flywheel to drive further hyperbitcoinization.
