Being Social For Introverts

Being Social For Introverts

Author: Siena & Toast April 30, 2024 Duration: 38:00
We are introverts. During the stay at home orders of COVID in 2020 and even in 2021 and 2022, we were fine staying at home with our cat. We were fine avoiding in-person social events even after that because inertia. But we also know it’s really not healthy to live like that. In this episode, we talk about the ironic effort it can sometimes take to do the perfectly normal thing called in-person social interactions.

Siena & Toast have been partners in life and music since 2001, a married lesbian couple who are API and originally from Hawaii. They bring that unique perspective to every conversation on Live Your Love Story. This isn't about presenting a perfect facade; it's about the real, ongoing work of building a meaningful life together, rooted in their experiences within the LGBTQ community. You'll hear discussions that weave together personal stories with broader themes of culture, holistic health, and positive spirituality. The tone is intentionally uplifting and entertaining, but there's always an educational thread-whether they're exploring relationships, self-improvement, or what it means to be a progressive ally. Think of tuning in as a chance to sit with two friends who believe that personal growth and authentic connection are the foundations of any great love story. Their podcast offers a blend of warmth and practical insight, creating a space dedicated to being the best you can be, individually and within your communities. It’s about the daily choice to live intentionally, with joy and purpose.
