Oklahoma Sooners set the tone for a promising season as fans debate whether Brent Venables’ best-ever roster can dominate UTEP and spark a run at the College Football Playoff. Can the Sooners’ ground game finally deliver explosive plays, and will defensive standouts like PJ, Danny Okoye, and Reggie Powers confirm preseason hype?
Host Jay Smith welcomes Tyler McComas and Colton Sulley to break down key expectations for Oklahoma’s opener, from John Matere’s quarterback performance to running backs Lloyd Avant and Xavier Robinson battling for starting snaps.
