The Poets -

Jairam Seshadri is the author of Mantra Yoga and a few other books. The India Poetry Circle which he founded, his 3 dogs and coping with the Chennai heat all year round keep him on his toes.

Sathya Venkatesh has a background in Economics and a passion for English. She teaches English to government school students and is interested in poetry, travel, painting, and Indian philosophy.

Subha Bharadwaj is a mother turned environment activist to fight for a better planet for her children. She stumbled upon her teenage passion, POETRY with IPC during Madras Day and the Odyssey continues.

Avantika Vijay Singh is a communications professional wearing multiple hats. She has a passion for poetry and believes poetry matters. She has edited several anthologies, and her poems have been published nationally and internationally.

S. Sundar Rajan is a chartered accountant by profession and a poet/writer by passion. He is a nature lover, and he lives by his motto "Boundless Boundaries Beckon".

Sindhu Vijayan Rammohan believes writing is that writing is both the best form of self-indulgence and a way to feel deeply connected with humanity.

N. Ramamani Sampath is a poet, writer, educator and veena player with a passion for exploring the human experiences through words and music. Her poems have been widely anthologised. Her writing invites readers to contemplate their own journeys and the cycles of life.

The Anthology: She: SILK AND THUNDER is an anthology published under the patronage of India Poetry Circle. The poems offer a kaleidoscopic perspective on Womanhood. ‘Womanhood’ courses through every poem giving readers a runway that gently slopes upward offering an easy entry into each poem.
