We are told to "shake it off", "just smile", "be happy", "leave it at the door", "don't be moody", "cheer up" (and more) over and over again in our lives. While positivity has it's benefits - sometimes (in fact a lot of the time), we need to be okay feeling what we we need to feel no matter what that emotion is.

Our emotions are like our guides. They help to keep us on track, they get us in/out of situations that are for us/not for us and they support us in setting goals, desires and dreams.

Life without "negative" emotions would be a nightmare! 😆
