Season 5 Ep 20: The Joy of Purpose and Divine Expression with Manasi Kakade

Season 5 Ep 20: The Joy of Purpose and Divine Expression with Manasi Kakade

Author: Lisa Kuzman July 22, 2021 Duration: 51:06

My final interview of season 5 was exactly the conversation I needed to have — and I'm hoping it's exactly the one you need to hear. I had the pleasure of speaking with Manasi Kakade, a Practical Spirituality Mentor, and Speaker for Bridgewalker visionaries. Manasi works with coaches, healers, artists, and authors to create an unshakable internal foundation — so it's no surprise that clients often describe her work as the "liberation of the soul."

I couldn't have chosen a better conversation to cap off five seasons and one hundred episodes. We discussed:

  • What it means to be a Bridgewalker
  • Deeper definitions of chakra, energy, and flow
  • Effecting systemic change through practical and divinely guided action
  • How to move forwards when your purpose feels like a burden
  • Debunking the myth of a one size fits all business strategy

And yes — so much more.

"Healing doesn't mean there's something broken about us. Healing simply means we're reminding ourselves to go back to who we really are. Not defined by the traumatic experiences we've had, not by the systemic oppression that we've faced, not defined by any of that. We are liberating our souls. That liberation, that expansion, is what healing is."

Manasi, I can't thank you enough for everything you shared on the show today, and all the important work you do in the world. I encourage everyone listening to check out some of the resources she offers:

There's a quiet shift happening in how we think about authority and influence, and New Wave Leadership Podcast is right at the heart of it. Host Lisa Kuzman believes traditional, top-down leadership models have run their course, proving ineffective for today's complex world. Instead, this movement champions a much broader, more inclusive vision. Each episode digs into the real, often unspoken challenges that come with stepping into a role of influence, whether you're in a corner office, a community group, or simply leading your own life. The conversations here actively work to expand our definition of who gets to be a leader, arguing passionately for the necessity of diverse identities, perspectives, and lived experiences at the helm. You'll hear frank discussions about authenticity, the personal hurdles leaders navigate behind closed doors, and practical ideas for cultivating your own unique leadership identity without conforming to outdated standards. Tuning into this podcast feels like joining a necessary dialogue-one that moves beyond theory to explore what it genuinely means to show up and make an impact on your own terms.
