Season 6 Ep 12: Fearless Transgenerational Healing with Leah Ardent

Season 6 Ep 12: Fearless Transgenerational Healing with Leah Ardent

Author: Lisa Kuzman October 21, 2021 Duration: 50:38

My guest this week is Leah Ardent, and I cannot WAIT for you to hear our conversation! Born with business in her blood, Leah is a brand visionary and co-founder of the world's first (and only) actualization agency. (That's just a fancy way of saying she helps entrepreneurs clarify their missions and tap into their genius.) She believes that everyone who is capable and ambitious should have access to the support they need — at a price they can afford.

She also did this interview while 36 weeks pregnant, so I was super honored that she took the time to jam with me. We covered so much in this discussion:

  • Clearing energetic and emotional baggage with just about everyone in her life
  • The income vs. merit disparity in the coaching industry
  • Sweeping out the cognitive cobwebs and fearlessly examining her shadow
  • Transcending identities and returning to resonance

...and a whole lot more. (Psst: be sure to stick around until the end for her closing thoughts around representation and worthiness, because WOW)

"I feel like so many of the journeys I have been on have been about that transgenerational healing. There's definitely been a lot of back work and a lot of fearlessly examining shadow, and internally looking at those dark corners and the places that we fear to tread normally. When you stop bullshitting yourself, it's very Shakespearean, right? To thine own self be true. The more honest I've gotten in myself, the way less extraneous expression I'm capable of."

Leah, thank you so much for joining me on the show before you unplugged for a while. There's a quiet shift happening in how we think about authority and influence, and New Wave Leadership Podcast is right at the heart of it. Host Lisa Kuzman believes traditional, top-down leadership models have run their course, proving ineffective for today's complex world. Instead, this movement champions a much broader, more inclusive vision. Each episode digs into the real, often unspoken challenges that come with stepping into a role of influence, whether you're in a corner office, a community group, or simply leading your own life. The conversations here actively work to expand our definition of who gets to be a leader, arguing passionately for the necessity of diverse identities, perspectives, and lived experiences at the helm. You'll hear frank discussions about authenticity, the personal hurdles leaders navigate behind closed doors, and practical ideas for cultivating your own unique leadership identity without conforming to outdated standards. Tuning into this podcast feels like joining a necessary dialogue-one that moves beyond theory to explore what it genuinely means to show up and make an impact on your own terms.
