Season 6 Ep 13: Diving Into the Deep End of Personal Development

Season 6 Ep 13: Diving Into the Deep End of Personal Development

Author: Lisa Kuzman October 25, 2021 Duration: 19:29

Today I wanted to expand on the ten year journey I talked about last Monday. Because let's be real: it's one thing to compare where I am right now to where I was ten years ago, but what about the time in between?

It was an excruciating time of undoing. Even on the other side, I get emotional when I think about how hard it was!

I had no idea how many layers of my own awareness I'd need to work through in order to access my truth.

Chip away, rest, repeat.

Your journey might not take ten years. Heck, it might take longer. But the process of learning and becoming who you are is worth every single second.

I'm so glad you tuned in today. Whether you're looking back on your own journey or still in the thick of the undoing, I'd love to hear how this landed for you. You can either send me an email at podcast@lisakuzman.com, or visit https://lisakuzman.com/ and book a one-on-one call.

We're talking about stuff like this every day on my trauma sensitive leadership group. Come join the conversation!

There's a quiet shift happening in how we think about authority and influence, and New Wave Leadership Podcast is right at the heart of it. Host Lisa Kuzman believes traditional, top-down leadership models have run their course, proving ineffective for today's complex world. Instead, this movement champions a much broader, more inclusive vision. Each episode digs into the real, often unspoken challenges that come with stepping into a role of influence, whether you're in a corner office, a community group, or simply leading your own life. The conversations here actively work to expand our definition of who gets to be a leader, arguing passionately for the necessity of diverse identities, perspectives, and lived experiences at the helm. You'll hear frank discussions about authenticity, the personal hurdles leaders navigate behind closed doors, and practical ideas for cultivating your own unique leadership identity without conforming to outdated standards. Tuning into this podcast feels like joining a necessary dialogue-one that moves beyond theory to explore what it genuinely means to show up and make an impact on your own terms.
