She also holds a Master of Science in Medical Anthropology and Sociology from the University of Amsterdam and is currently pursuing an additional Master of Arts in Anthropology with a focus in Humanitarian Aid and Development from Georgia State University.
She is a champion for diversity in the NGO landscape and sees her position as Executive Officer for Peacebuilding Solutions as a gateway to leading more African American women into the realm of International Development and Humanitarian Aid. Martina is a socially-minded business professional with experience spanning across Public and Private Equity, and Not-for-Profit industries. She is interested in making impact along Public and Private sector partnerships, as well as both community and economic empowerment opportunities. She leverages qualitative and analytical skills to produce innovative solutions, improve outcomes, impact strategic planning, and develop strong relationships with diverse constituents - C-suite executives, community and civic leaders, and philanthropists.
She is passionate about effecting change, including economic development, women’s empowerment, access to capital for MWBEs, financial literacy/education and community resiliency. Martina enthusiastically serves as a member of the Leadership Council for Junior Achievement of Georgia, the Advisory Board for Atlanta Neighborhood Development Partnership, the board for Atlanta Beltline 67 and is a Fellow of New Leaders Council.
