Author: Mike Robertson December 20, 2024 Duration: 1:01:59

Have you ever thought about the BUSINESS SIDE of collegiate strength and conditioning?

For instance, how do you go about hiring high-quality staff?

How do you develop them and ensure they’re growing while under your tutelage?

And how the heck do you decide what to spend money on?

Well lucky for us, today’s guest has experience doing all of this!

Eric Guthrie joined George Washington in 2021 and is responsible for overseeing the sports performance department and working directly with Gymnastics and Lacrosse.

Guthrie came to GW from the University of Illinois at Chicago where he worked as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach since 2013.

And in this episode, we’re going to break down the business of collegiate strength and conditioning!

You have to turn the dial up and down…you’re not going to go into working with golf at the same intensity as you would with football or baseball.
